Vice President, People
Precision Neuroscience is pioneering a brain implant, known as a brain-computer interface (BCI), to restore communication and independence for people with neurological conditions. Our cutting-edge technology is designed to empower people with paralysis to control digital devices—such as computers and smartphones—with their thoughts alone, opening new possibilities for daily life.
Precision’s multidisciplinary team brings together leading experts in diverse fields such as neurosurgery, artificial intelligence, machine learning, microfabrication, electrical engineering, and more. We are committed to turning breakthrough scientific advancements into real-world solutions for people affected by conditions such as spinal cord injury, stroke, and ALS.
As a Precision employee, you will be joining one of the fastest moving and best-capitalized companies in the emerging field of BCI. Since our founding in 2021, Precision has secured over $155 million in funding, developed and validated our technology, and initiated human trials in collaboration with some of the nation’s top hospitals.
We are seeking a Vice President, People to lead and scale our People function during a period of rapid organizational growth. This is the company’s first senior People executive hire, reporting to our CFO and partnering closely with our CEO and Chief Science Officer (two of our co-founders) as well as the broader C-suite. This position will suit an experienced and philosophically thoughtful Vice President who is energized by the opportunity to define and implement Precision’s talent, culture, and organizational strategy.
The ideal candidate is a strategic and hands-on operator who has played a meaningful role in growing VC-backed tech companies from 50 to 200+ employees, and who brings demonstrated leadership across core people domains including talent acquisition, engagement, org development, L&D, performance, total rewards, and compliance. We’re looking for a builder—someone who thrives in dynamic, early-stage contexts and cares deeply about fostering a high-performance and mission-aligned culture.
This position is onsite at our New York City headquarters in the Flatiron district, and while we have a flexible, relaxed culture regarding working hours, we highly value in-person collaboration. As such, this individual will be required to be in-office at least 3 days per week, with a strong preference for 4 days in-office (or even, as many Precision employees choose to do, all 5).
Regrettably, we are unable to consider remote workers or applicants not currently based in the United States, nor are we able to offer relocation assistance for applicants not currently living in the tri-state area.
